Databox

Category: Analytics/Attribution

One dashboard across every tool, and reports that send themselves.

Databox pulls metrics from the places your data already lives, GA4, Google Ads, Meta, HubSpot, Salesforce, Search Console, Shopify, Stripe, LinkedIn, Mailchimp and a hundred-plus others, plus Google Sheets, SQL databases and a custom API, and puts them on one dashboard. You build boards from a template library or from scratch, set goals and get alerted when a metric moves or stalls, and schedule reports to go out by email, Slack or a live shared link so clients and managers stop asking for updates. Calculated metrics let you combine figures across sources, which is where the real value sits, blended CAC across three ad platforms, or pipeline per marketing channel, numbers no single tool can give you. There is benchmarking against anonymised data from similar companies, mobile and TV display, and a white-label option for agencies.

Our verdict

Earns its place by killing the monthly reporting spreadsheet. The connector library is broad enough that most stacks are covered without engineering, and scheduled reports with a live link are the specific feature that gets a day back every month for an agency. Calculated metrics across sources are the real analytical win, since blended acquisition cost is the number people want and no individual platform will produce. Benchmarking adds helpful context to an otherwise meaningless figure. Fair caveats: it visualises and combines data rather than modelling it, so it is not an attribution tool, pricing scales with data sources and users so a big stack adds up, and some connectors sync on a schedule rather than live, which occasionally matters. Build one dashboard on the trial before committing, as that is a reliable test of whether your connectors behave.

Best for: Agencies reporting to several clients, and in-house teams whose numbers are scattered across six platforms and currently reconciled in a spreadsheet each month.

Pros

  • Over a hundred connectors, plus Sheets, SQL and a custom API
  • Calculated metrics combine sources, giving you blended CAC and similar
  • Scheduled reports by email, Slack or live link end the monthly update request
  • Benchmarking against similar companies gives a number context
  • Goals and alerts flag a stalling metric without someone checking
  • White-label option for agencies reporting to clients

Cons

  • Visualises and combines data, it is not an attribution model
  • Pricing scales with data sources and users, so a large stack adds up
  • Some connectors sync on a schedule rather than live
  • Dashboards still need someone to decide which metrics matter
