Leadfeeder

Category: Lead Gen/Data

See which companies visited your site without filling anything in.

Leadfeeder (the product Dealfront has rebranded itself as, so older material may still say Dealfront) identifies the companies behind anonymous website traffic. A tracking script matches visitor IP and network data against a company database, so instead of a session with no name you get an organisation, the pages they looked at, how long they spent and how often they have come back. You can set custom feeds, so for example every company that viewed the pricing page twice this week, and have those pushed into Slack or email so sales see them while the interest is fresh. It enriches companies with industry, size and location, surfaces contacts at those organisations, scores visits by behaviour, and integrates with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Google Analytics and the rest so a visit becomes an activity on a record rather than a separate dashboard nobody opens. There is a free tier showing a limited window of history.

Our verdict

The clearest version of a genuinely useful idea: most of your buying committee will never fill in a form, and knowing that a target account read your pricing page three times is a reason to pick up the phone. The custom feeds and Slack alerts are what make it operational rather than interesting, because a signal that arrives a week later is worthless. CRM integration means it lands in the sales workflow instead of being another tab. Two limits are inherent to the technology, not the product: it identifies companies, not people, so you still have to work out who to contact, and remote and mobile traffic resolves to consumer ISPs and goes unidentified, so coverage is partial. It also needs enough traffic to produce a useful list. With the right traffic and a sales team that will act on it, the return is easy to see.

Best for: B2B teams with meaningful website traffic and a long sales cycle who want to know which target accounts are researching them before anyone fills in a form.
