Livestorm

Category: AI Video

Browser-based webinars, now priced per attendee.

Livestorm runs webinars, demos and virtual events entirely in the browser, so nobody has to install anything, which removes the single biggest cause of no-shows. It handles registration pages, automated reminder and follow-up emails, live and on-demand sessions, polls, Q&A, chat, upvoting, breakout-style engagement features, and analytics covering registration, attendance, engagement and drop-off. Recordings publish on demand afterwards. It integrates with the usual CRM and marketing tools so registrants and attendance flow into your automation rather than sitting in a silo. Recent additions include AI content repurposing, live captions in beta, and AI live translation. Pricing has moved to a usage model: rather than a monthly tier you buy attendee credits at EUR 2.50 each, one credit per unique attendee per session, valid twelve months, with team members excluded from the count. There is a first-party MCP server using OAuth that wraps the public API, though support must enable that API first.

Our verdict

The best-designed webinar tool for marketers, and running in the browser genuinely improves attendance, because every install prompt is a drop-off point. The shift to attendee credits at EUR 2.50 each is the thing to understand, and for most marketing teams it is better than what it replaced: if you run four webinars a year you now pay for four webinars rather than twelve months of a platform. If you run weekly, do the maths carefully, because it can go the other way. The MCP server is a real plus and rare among webinar tools. For UK and EU buyers the compliance position is good, a French company with data on AWS in Ireland, ISO 27001, published DPA and technical measures. One caveat worth knowing: the EU video hosting region is a paid add-on rather than the default, which undercuts the residency story on the base plan, so ask for it explicitly if residency matters. Their page also still advertises a free plan that no longer exists.

Best for: B2B marketing teams running webinars irregularly, where a usage model beats paying monthly for a platform you use four times a year.
