Salesforce

Category: Sales/CRM

The enterprise CRM standard, increasingly an AI-everywhere platform with Agentforce.

Salesforce is the enterprise CRM standard and increasingly an AI-agentic platform via Agentforce, autonomous agents for sales, service, marketing, and revenue ops. The product is sprawling (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Slack, Tableau, MuleSoft, and dozens more) and Agentforce ties the AI layer across all of it. Used at enterprise scale everywhere; not a tool for SMB unless you're already locked into the ecosystem. The honest assessment: powerful but expensive, complex, and increasingly hard to evaluate without specialist help.

Our verdict

The enterprise CRM standard, and Agentforce is the most ambitious agentic-AI play in the category. Worth the investment at enterprise scale where the ecosystem and AI agent layer pay back; overkill for SMB and mid-market teams who'd be better served by Attio or HubSpot.

Best for: Enterprise revenue orgs running CRM, service, and increasingly AI agents at scale.

Pros

Cons

  • Pricing is enterprise-tier
  • Complexity and product sprawl create implementation burden
  • Lock-in is real and costly to exit

Pricing: Custom (Starter $25/seat/mo, Enterprise from $165/seat/mo) (Enterprise)
